Full Day Hanoi City Tour - From Hanoi City

Enjoy a tour of this remarkable city. Our guide picks us up at the hotel to take part in Hanoi City Tour, firstly visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (outside view on Monday and Friday/Fine Art Museum as an alternative), his house on stilt, the botanical garden, and the Presidential palace while learning about his life and revolutionary activities.
On the way out visit One Pillar pagoda. The pagoda was constructed in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong according to his dream of Bodhisattva seating on a lotus flower which led him to the pagoda and Temple of Literature.
Having lunch at a local restaurant.

Optional Tour - Halong Bay $150pp

Halong Bay by Road - Full-Day Tour from Hanoi City

Halong Cruise day trip will take you to a discovery of Halong Bay. Three different formulas to take you each for a ride amidst the magic archipelago; and depending on the length of the cruise, you’ll enjoy a global overview of the different wonders that this UNESCO World Heritage site has to offer. After being picked-up at the hotel, begin the scenic, drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break on the way. Upon arrival at the Tuan Chau Harbour, embark on your private boat followed by a short cruise briefing. Start a 5-hour dreamy cruise along a route renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoying a mouth-watering lunch on board. Upon arrival at Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave where you will see stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea life, before going kayaking or riding the bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Visit Titov Island with its sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain which provides an excellent backdrop to the Bay, and climb up Titov Peak for panoramic views over the stunning bay. Once back on board cruise back towards Tuan Chau harbour. There will be plenty of time for sunbathing on the upper deck with music, mingle with other passengers and taking in some of the iconic natural scenery.

Hanoi Evening Tour With Cyclo and Water Puppet Show

Discover the charming French quarter of Hanoi on an evening Cyclo Tour, pick up from your hotel, cyclo ride around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter then take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful water. This scenic lake is part of the historical center of Hanoi, playing a significant part in the daily cultural life of its people. There is a local legend of the Golden Turtle God appearing to an emperor above the lake. And then we will stop at the Opera House in central Hanoi, built in the French colonial era and now become one of Hanoi’s symbols. Start a cyclo ride to a Water puppet show to enjoy the water puppet show - Water Puppet (or Puppetry) is a unique traditional folk theatrical art form, formed in rice culture. Being folk art, water puppetry art has become a traditional art, a special creation of the Vietnamese people. Water puppetry has been born for over 10 centuries in the Red River Delta. This type has been usually performed in festivals, village festivals, fun days, and New Year's Day, using the puppet to make fun on the water. Water puppet is also considered intangible cultural characteristics of the Vietnamese people. Due to its unique, form of folk art, water puppetry has quickly become a traditional art that can be comparable to the classical drama, traditional operetta which has a high position on the national stage. Puppetry appears in many countries around the world, but water puppetry is only available in Vietnam. After that, we will take a walk on the streets in the old quarter and enjoy the Vietnamese traditional food: Beef noodles (PHO)
