Day 2 - Athens
Start your day with a lively guided walk through Athens’ bustling Varvakios Central Market, where fresh produce, spices, seafood, and local treats fill the air with flavour and excitement. It’s the perfect spot to dive into the city’s vibrant food scene. Then it’s hands-on time! Join Anna and her mum, Gina for an intimate cooking class in a beautiful venue in the heart of Athens. In the afternoon, explore Athens like a local with a guided walk through the charming neighbourhoods of Plaka, Anafiotika, and Thiseio. Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in A Greek Table with Anna Polyviou (“the Tour”), operated by Travelglobe (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking this Tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking & Payments
2.1 For online bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the Tour.
2.2 For bookings made through a travel agent, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due by 28th February 2026.
2.3 Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any amounts paid.
2.4 Prices are quoted in AUD (or the applicable currency) and are subject to change until full payment is received.3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

More than 60 days before departure: Loss of 50% deposit

60 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the tour cost (no refund)
3.2 No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the Tour, including early departures, late arrivals, or missed activities.
3.3 If we are required to cancel the Tour for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative tour option.4. Travel Insurance
4.1 Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Your policy must cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances.
4.2 Proof of valid travel insurance is required prior to departure.5. Itinerary Changes & Amendments
5.1 Travelglobe reserves the right to modify or adjust the itinerary due to operational needs, local conditions, or supplier availability.
5.2 Any changes will be communicated as early as possible, and we will do our best to maintain the overall quality and intent of the experience.
5.3 No refunds or compensation will be offered for changes due to factors beyond our control such as weather, ferry delays, strikes, or local events.6. Health, Safety & Physical Requirements
6.1 This tour involves walking, stairs, and uneven surfaces—particularly on the Greek islands, where villages may have cobbled streets and steep paths.
6.2 You must be in reasonably good health and able to participate in the planned activities. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us prior to booking.
6.3 Please advise us of any dietary restrictions or medical conditions at the time of booking. While we aim to accommodate special requests, we cannot guarantee all dietary needs will be met in every location.
6.4 Travelglobe is not liable for any health-related incidents that occur before, during, or after the Tour.7. Responsibility & Liability
7.1 Travelglobe acts as an agent for third-party service providers including accommodations, transportation, and local operators.
7.2 We are not responsible for the actions, errors, or omissions of these third parties.
7.3 We accept no liability for loss, theft, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the Tour.
7.4 Participants agree to follow all guidance and safety instructions provided by tour leaders and local guides.8. Passports & Entry Requirements
8.1 You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport (with at least six months’ validity from your return date) and meet any visa or entry requirements for Greece.
8.2 Travelglobe is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to invalid documentation.9. Conduct & Participation
9.1 This tour is designed to be a fun, inclusive, and respectful group experience. Participants are expected to behave considerately toward fellow travellers, guides, and hosts.
9.2 Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in your removal from the Tour without refund.10. Force Majeure
10.1 Travelglobe is not liable for changes, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which Travelglobe is registered (Australia). Any disputes shall be resolved under the applicable jurisdiction.
