After dedicating 15 years of my life to a job that failed to ignite my passion, the universe intervened and made me redundant. It was in that moment of uncertainty that I realized it was high time for me to pursue a career that truly set my soul on fire. One of my greatest passions in life is traveling, and I seize every opportunity to explore new destinations. During my tenure in my previous role, I found immense joy in assisting my colleagues in planning their dream vacations. They often marvelled at my talents and believed I was wasting them. In fact, they went above and beyond by creating a sign that read "Alex the Travel Agent Help Desk" to highlight my expertise in the field.
Since I started working and studying in the travel industry, I have come to the realization that this is my true calling. Assisting people in planning their dream vacations brings me immense joy. Whether it's my friends or individuals reaching out to me for travel advice, I am always thrilled to share my knowledge and expertise on various travel adventures. Personally, I find great pleasure in exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, commonly referred to as "non-tourist areas," and I am eager to share these unique experiences with others so they can also relish in them.
I have visited several countries including America, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Bali, Norfolk Island, and various states in Australia. My travel experiences range from family holidays to attending the MotoGP Malaysia Sporting event, as well as enjoying girls trips in America, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, holds a special place in my heart as one of my top destinations to visit. Prior to the pandemic, I used to travel there frequently, and a little fun fact that still amuses people that whenever I return to Australia via Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) after exploring different parts of Vietnam, I make it a point to hop into a taxi and head straight to the finest Vietnamese pork roll spot. There, I enjoy my meal in a nearby park before catching another taxi to continue my journey back home.
